First Run of Cron Job

We recently ran the cron job in Port87 for the first time in years, which means that old emails were deleted from things like your spam folder, trash folder, and pending labels.

If we deleted any email you need, don’t worry, we still have it.

We took an extra full-backup of the database before we ran the cron job, and we recorded all of the IDs for the email that the cron job deleted. If you need us to recover any email for you, you can reach out to [email protected], and we can create an archive for you.

We will be keeping this extra backup according to our normal backup schedule, which is 6 months of retention. After that time, it will be purged.

We make a point to not look inside your accounts except for security and legal purposes, so we have not checked anyone else’s accounts but our own. Everything seems to have worked well though, so we don’t believe we have any reason to restore anything from the backup. The cron job will now run nightly.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any issues!
