QuickDAV does not log or share your personal data.
QuickDAV makes one network request to SciActive Inc servers when it is opened to check for updates. If there is an update available, QuickDAV will makes additional requests to retrieve it. SciActive Inc may log information about your client when it makes these requests, including:
- Your IP address.
- Your user-agent string (contains information about what browser and operating system you are using).
- The time and date.
These logs are only used for diagnostics and troubleshooting. None of this information is shared outside of SciActive Inc.
If you would like to disable this behavior, you can use the following environment variable when you open QuickDAV.
AUTOUPDATE="off"
Other than these auto-update related requests, QuickDAV does not perform network operations outside of answering incoming user requests.
